2007 - present: Appointed to the Prime Minister of Niger's Cabinet in the function as Chairman of EITI Niger. Member of EITI International Board of Directors (16/02/2009).
January 2003 - August 2007: In charge of the Infrastructure Program in the European Commission's delegation to Niger, responsible for the implementation of the Mining Program and support to the Transportation program.
June 1999 - December 2002:Technical adviser to the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Niamey.
March 1997 - May 1999: Secondment to the National Office of Mineral Resources, Niger, ONAREM, in the function as Managing director. In addition to this managerial functions Mr.X held the following positions: Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the uranium company SOMAIR; member of the Board of Directors of the mining company Akouta; Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Niger Islamic Trade and Investment Bank; Vice president of the Etruscan-Onarem Association (Gold deposits in Kama Bangou, Niger)
February 1984 - March 1997: Secondment to SOMAIR with the following responsibilities: Engineer, responsible for calculation of mineral reserves at the exploitation siteManger of Service and Budget ProgramInternal Aditor, responsible for the delegation.
January 1983 – January 1984: Engeneer in the Tassa N’taghalgue mining company (uranium)
July 1982 – December 1982: Civil servant in the Ministry of Mines in Niger.
